FAQ

Check out the questions we get asked a lot but be sure to message or email if you want clarification or have a question that isn't listed.

  • What should I call the Coach?
Our names! Some clubs require special titles but it just makes us feel awkward... we're pretty cruisey.
  • Are there any rules or ettiquetes I should know about?
No real rules as such over than - No shoes on the mat. We keep the mats sterile with quality cleaning products because our faces contact it heaps... sometimes volunterily. A dirty shoe is a quick fix to a clean mat. Keep yourself clean. Trim your nails. Jewlery is dangerous for everybody - safest option is to leave it at home.
  • What do I need to bring to to my first nights training?
Yourself and a good attitude id all you really need, but the following will make it easier: 1. active wear or a rashguard and shorts without pockets (boardshorts) - anything that isnt too loose. 2. Water bottle because you're probably going to work up a sweat. 3. Some easy on/off footwear to use the restrooms - jandals are a good example
  • Do you guys have a Gi you can recommend?
There are HEAPS of quality Gi's on the market but here are some we have expierience with: RESPECT - Some of our coaches are sponsored - Ask for their code or see if there's a Gi in stock TATAMI FUJI FUJIMAE
